Lunark struggles to fight with Geo in her present state. She realizes that she will not win but hopes to prevent Geo from interfering in Frankenstein's battle. Mirai comes to her aid and learns that the assassins belong to the Union. She regrets that not only did Maduke sacrifice their kinsmen for his greed, but he underestimated the humans. She expresses her resentment for having to fight alongside Lunark, but adds that they can't be picky given the circumstances. She urges her to recover as soon as possible and faces Geo. Lunark is taken aback by Mirai's decision.
The 1st and 3rd Elder watch Frankenstein in awe. The 3rd doubts that Haydn will suceed. The 1st Elder is unnerved that Frankenstein became so strong on his own and worries if there is anything that they don't know. He hesitates to join the battle fearing Raizel's intervention.
Frankenstein and Haydn exchange a final strike that leaves the latter crippled. Frankenstein is amused with Haydn's superior regeneration but notes that it has slowed down. He prepares to kill Haydn but the 3rd Elder attacks him. The 1st Elder, too, steps forward prompting Raizel to release his aura. Frankenstein panics and reminds his master about their agreement. Juraki wonders why Frankenstein keeps insisting on not letting Raizel fight. Raizel relents after some hesitation. Frankenstein tells the 1st Elder that he knew that they would eventually intervene and challenges them.
