Kentas and Gayare continue their fight as Gayare has a flashback: Kentas didn't wish to accept modification as he believed that it wasn't honorable enough. When Gayare asks if the Warriors who accepted modification have dishonored the clan; Kentas says that he respect the wishes of the Warriors but he won't do the same. Gayare holds grudge against Kentas for a long time due to Kentas' endless potential, whereas Gayare reached his limit and accepted the modification to break his limitation. Kentas, on the other hand, kept overcoming his own limitation and kept getting stronger even without the aid of physical modification, something Gayare was unable to accomplish. Kentas back then sincerely believed that everyone in time can overcome their limitations like him, unaware that Gayare has been suffering of not being able to do so, thus unintentionally wounding Gayare's self-esteem.
Back to present, Gayare defeats Kentas by using the powers he got from experiments all the while mocking Kentas.
Ignes Kravei arrives at the scene with the badly busted M-21. M-21 tries to wake Kentas by reminding of his duties and the promise he made to the clan members who lost their lives due to the greed of their clan but is quickly brutalized into silence by Ignes. Much to the shock of werewolves and Ignes, Kentas is back on his feet.
Sensing the approaching of werewolf warriors towards them, Frankenstein says he would handle them and asks the rest to go on ahead. Frankenstein gives a sadistic smile when Rai releases his seal... Franky's berserk mode is on!
